About LaNetteBest-Selling Author and Writing Coach
LaNette is the owner of Bigger Than Books® Academy, a platform dedicated to helping writers, aspiring authors, and creatives turn their ideas into fully developed books and share their stories with the world. She is a Christian Best-Selling Author, Writing Coach, and Certified Grief Coach, specializing in coaching self-published authors and entrepreneurs on writing, publishing, and marketing strategies that maximize visibility and impact.
As a Marine wife, mother, and passionate storyteller, LaNette brings both personal experience and professional expertise to guide authors and entrepreneurs through every step of the writing process. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas Wesleyan University, an Associate of Arts from Tarrant County College, and recently completed a Master’s in Legal Studies from Texas A&M University. During college, she was honored to join the Sigma Kappa Delta English Honor Society and the Alpha Kappa Delta Sociology Society, reflecting her lifelong commitment to learning and excellence.
Driven by a passion for helping self-published authors and entrepreneurs succeed, LaNette completed a 14-week entrepreneurship cohort program in Colorado and earned a certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. Many of her clients have had their work featured on major news outlets, reached Amazon Best-Seller lists, and shared their stories on prestigious stages such as TEDx.
Through Bigger Than Books® Academy, LaNette provides coaching, mentorship, and actionable strategies to help writers and entrepreneurs confidently develop, publish, and market their books and products.
